Ormat Technologies Achieves 1.4 GW Global Geothermal Capacity

Ormat Technologies has reached 1.4 GW of operating geothermal capacity globally, including traditional and enhanced geothermal projects across multiple continents. Operating capacity has grown steadily from 1.2 GW two years ago through combination of new projects and acquisitions. Strong capacity factors provide stable cash generation from long-term contracts and bilateral arrangements. Ormat continues to pursue growth in traditional geothermal hotspots and emerging enhanced geothermal markets.
