Vanguard Renewables Opens Third Food Waste Digestion Facility

Vanguard Renewables has opened its third anaerobic digestion facility, this time in Massachusetts, designed to process food waste from New England's food manufacturing and retail sectors. The facility co-digests food waste with dairy manure to produce renewable natural gas and nutrient-rich fertilizer. With capacity to process over 120,000 tons of organic waste annually, the Massachusetts facility is already operating above nameplate capacity due to strong regional demand for food waste management solutions.
