WM has announced that its renewable gas network has grown to 40 operating facilities across the United States, with pipeline interconnections to major fuel distribution networks. The expanded network produces renewable natural gas from both landfill methane and anaerobic digestion processes, supporting heavy-duty vehicles and heating applications. WM's network now supplies enough RNG annually to power approximately 60,000 heavy-duty trucks and reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by millions of tonnes CO2-equivalent. The company continues to invest in new facilities and interconnection infrastructure.
